Occurred to me that despite the many iterations of this meme, I'd never actually done it. Well, been listening to music all day while doing laundry, so I figured it was about time I did it.

Put your music on shuffle, post the first line of the first ten songs that come up. Well, I'm posting the first line of the last ten songs that I played without skipping. If the first line contains the song title, put the next line that doesn't. If it's instrumental, skip it. Everyone else comment w/ the song names and titles - don't use teh intartubes, just your memory.

7) Right artist, wrong song. The one you guessed starts "Morning smiles like the face of a newborn child".

Oh, right, of course. *ahem* I mean "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy".

Now that (1) has been identified, I recognize it and can hear it in my head, although I'd never known exactly what that line was. :)

7) I had the name wrong for years myself, and I double-checked online before I replied to you to make sure I wasn't wrong again now.

1) I double-checked that one three places too, b/c I couldn't for the life of me make out the words, and what the heck does "combie" mean anyways?

Well, there _is_ another song called "Fear" on the album _Fumbling Towards Ecstasy_--that's how I got confused in the first place.

I can probably recite most, if not all, of "Fear"'s lyrics from memory, so the mistake is particularly embarrassing. (It is a song that has particular resonance for me, as it was relevant to my emotional state when I first heard it.)

Anyway. Back to work... :)
