I've been blagging here a bit less than usual lately. Part of it is that I've been Twittering more (I'm zandperl there), and part is that some of my internet thirst is being slaked more productively, by my online course. I don't feel as much need to say things to the world, if I can say it small I twit it, and only if I need to say it big do I LJ. This is a good thing - LJing can take a lot of time, and I want to become more productive. That is, do real work more consciously, and have more structured free time instead of time lost to aimless surfing.

Enough with the introspection. Check this flowchart of the financial crisis.

IF you're a Twitter user, I agree. For people who don't want yet another account, such a service helps them see their friends' other social networking things.

Yeah, but what about all of the people who do read both LJ and Twitter? Should they no longer follow person X on Twitter? I can't really turn off "only-[livejournal.com profile] zandperl's-Tweets" (for example) just-for-me on LJ. [livejournal.com profile] zandperl could do it, but I'd have to ask.

I'm trying my best not to be rude about it, and I apologize if I come off that way. It just seems double-posting.

I do see your side, [livejournal.com profile] spazzy444, but I'm not sure I see the best solution for all parties. This, of course, assumes readers of person X's LJ get a say at all in what person X chooses to do with hir LJ - I've generally been appreciative of all persons X who ask their readerships what they want, but I also believe that they should have the final say.

(Man, I hope my points come out clear. If they're not, I'll re-explain later.)
