Star Trek

I don't have a lot to say about it, but I really enjoyed the Star Trek movie. I thought it paid homage to the original characters with cute cheesy references to their original character traits (and flaws - Kirk's misogyny is played up as an individual character trait rather than a series-wide phenomenon). I also really liked how they portrayed Spock's struggle between his two cultures. Definitely something I can identify with.

You know you're tired when you type "lj-cute". Have I mentioned I'm sick? I might even have pink eye, yay.

I totally agree with you about the new Star Trek! I liked it a lot and felt that it was in the same spirit as the original, but with more depth and updated to relate better to a modern audience. (-:
