I'm going to be in Long Beach for a few days for a wedding in mid-July. I will have a rental car and T$ with me. Any recommendations on things we *must* see/do/eat at while we're there?

Make SURE you visit Little Saigon in Westminster. If I were there I would take you on a great eating tour -- one outstanding dish per restaurant. Unfortunately I don't know any of the restaurants by name -- I just know where my family has taken me and remember the dishes. I'm kinda swamped for the next week, but if you're interested and email me a reminder, I'll try to retrace my steps via Google maps and send you some specific recommendations.
There used to be a great Bollywood theater in the environs (called the NAV 8, I think), with lots of amazing food, too -- but it was converted last month into a regular multiplex. There are still two screens devoted to Bollywood fare, though.
If you have time to go N to LA, I have a LOT of good recommendations. How tight will your schedule be?
