The details are fuzzy now, but it was an extremely low tide at the beach, except that there were huge waves. Maybe it was a tusnami? I was talking on the cellphone with Dad, and I think at one point a wave drenched my phone, and he was worried about me. I stood at the top of the beach, above the high tide mark, and looked down, still on the phone. There were lots of sandbars, and I told the person next to me that people had to watch out they weren't trapped. The shallow water and exposed sandbars went all the way out to the other side of the Cape Cod Bay.
