Next time you need entertainment on a rainy day and don't want to clean the house, check out these stupid comics. Link via [livejournal.com profile] kadath.

Hey, let's be snarky.

Don'ja just love teh intartubez?
Eeek! [livejournal.com profile] theferrett (of Home on the Strange fame) gave my pseudoephedrine plea (better version here) a shoutout. *blush*

I was shocked enough when lots of people replied there to my idea, but having an "official" acknowledgement that it's a good idea is something else. Neato. Maybe people will write now and it'll happen! Do it!

ETA: And y'know what, I've even got a sneaking suspicion that [livejournal.com profile] theferrett's refusal to write his own letter about it might prompt more people to write letters themselves than would have otherwise.

PhD Comic

Is it my imagination, or did the latest PhD comic change?

office space

Previously, I believe the faculty office was in the milddle (w/o a window) and the grad student office was on the outside (presumably w/ a window), and the word "morning" was not crossed out and changed. Is it just me?

ETA: It's not just me, whew!
Student at VT goes postal and kills a bunch of classmates and strangers. Former MacHall and now Three Panel Soul writer Matt writes a strip, and artist Ian draws it, about buying a gun, joking with cow-okers about it, somewhere in there a cow-orker reads the strip and reports it to a supervisor who calls him in and fires him. In real life.
I spy something loud.

This isn't me in ten years, I swear!

I'm better at math. And I doubt I'd be playing 360.

Beartato!

There's this really cute little pseudo comic called Nedroid/[livejournal.com profile] nedroidcomics. It's very simplistic, but elegant in a way that Order of the Stick and Dinosaur Comics aren't (IMO). The main recurring character is Beartato, who is some sort of cross between a bear... and a potato. (I really like the dinosaurs myself, but they don't have names.) Well, he recently showed us how to draw Beartato (and Reginald, who is quite possibly imaginary, or maybe it's the other way around).

Well, someone else posted this hilarious response in which he attempts to follow the instructions! It's awesome. ^_^

Laws...

The best part of it is you KNOW there has to have been an incident to prompt this law.

Classic

I appreciate this so much more than way back when.

I probably spelled it wrong, but [livejournal.com profile] l0stmyrel1g10n this is for you in case it wasn't on his blog and you don't read PVP.

You have issues with the above comic b/c she hits the calculator too many times.

Unless it's RPN.
Brought to you by the same guy who did Newton's Laws of Procrastination, here's a comic just for [livejournal.com profile] unofischal. :)

Anyone else find it ironic (under definition 3a1) that I Drew This's banner ad rotation includes Wal-mart?

Ozy and Millie too, though it's apolitical.
