Dresses and skirts for sale. Mostly in size Small. Make me an offer (plus $6 S&H, less if you want a few); payment via PayPal preferred. More photos are available on request. If no offers in a couple days, I'll list on eBay or Etsy (for the handmade/vintage ones).  ExpandPhotos and descriptions herein )

I have a couple small bags of dresses (probably around 10 items in total) in size Small (roughly size 2-4) that I wore in college or high school and no longer fit me. Most were probably manufactured in the 90's, and are little cocktail dresses in black or flowery silken stuff; one is a vintage flapper dress. I want to sell them if possible.

I'm looking for recommendations on whether to use eBay, Craigslist, or something else, and recommendations on how to build the ads (I'm planning to list the items separately). I'd like them to sell the first time (especially on eBay since they charge per ad), I don't care too much about what price they sell for since my other option is donate them and not get any money, I'll be charging shipping if it's not a local pickup, I want to get my money before mailing/delivering the items. So, thoughts/advice?

My dad recently sold his old motorcycle on eBay. Yeah, I know, a total shocker! You don't think of your parents on eBay, and certainly not selling motorcycles! It was a kick-start bike though, which he can't handle anymore with those knees.

Today while at B&N w/ [livejournal.com profile] jethereal I decided I needed something to do since I didn't have any grading any more, so I first insisted we stop at a craft store, Michael's or something. I picked up some stuff for jewelry-making, and voila! Not counting startup cost (a couple boxes to hold things, and a pair of good pliers), it cost me around a dollar to make, and it'll cost another buck or two to ship, plus having to go to a post office since I don't trust my local mailbox. There's a fee of 20ยข per item I'm listing, but it's nothing to me, and some commission at the end, again no biggie.

Ooh, I've got three items up now, before even finishing this post! Pink, aqua (blue-green, for the color challenged), and a maroon set. That last one I'll lose money on if it sells for a buck, and I like it so I hope it either doesn't sell, or sells for a bundle. But if it doesn't sell, it's just more clutter around the house! More stuff I didn't have before I started this creativity streak, so selling it is better.
