Shower Photo

Well, a post-shower photo actually. I'm a tease. ;)



The shower perch was the best investment I've made for Gabe yet. First time I used it I had it on the back wall of the shower, away from the spray. He settled right down and started preening, and every time I moved he made those croony-squeals that meant I was too close to where HE had staked out. This time I put it on the side wall, and he immediately leaned forward ALL the way down with his wings spread out really really wide, ruffling feathers, tail straight up, letting the water get between his feathers and down to his skin. *grin* Gabe knows how to shower! I didn't want to get the camera wet, so the only photos I grabbed were after the fact. He's all wet and comfy and happy, it's awesome. ^_^

Ah, thanks for reminding me. I meant to lock those so people not on my flickr friends can't see them. If you find anything else potentially embarassing on my blog or flickr page, do let me know. Gabe is beautiful! I just posted a comment on another entry asking what kind of bird he was, but nm. :) I really want to get a shower perch for Ezri, but am lacking money at the moment. I have some pvc pipes of various sizes from craft projects, so I might try to make one soon.
