I'm looking for a free and/or open source program that will let me edit .pdf files and save them partially filled in and continue them later. Any suggestions?

Edit: I use a Mac.

A couple other people I know who use Open Office also said it "might" do it, or that they've been "working on" it but aren't sure if it yet is included. Both the Wikipedia page on OO and the OO.o page itself do not say that there is any pdf editing capability, so I believe it does not exist. Since I don't actually have OO installed on my computer right now, I'd rather install something that is known to do what I want. Thanks anyway!

No one really knows what OO can do. We just just know that it does it for free.
I had a full version of Acrobat at one point. Have you considered wearing a funny hat and saying yarr?

Nope, but I am building a spaceship and looking for a duck.

This proves to be exciting (:

I look forward to spacefaring!

(Sorry, I don't have anything to contribute to the actual entry)

Too bad Kappa can't lay an egg on command, or she'd be a good duck substitute. I have to remember to schedule boarding for her for that weekend.
