this is not a journal title

I'm back. Doing 5 loads of laundry makes Zandperl unhappy - but productive, as I'm also cleaning out my closet and have so far produced three Trader Joe bags of clothing donations. (This was prompted by a shopping spree with my parents - I realized if I wanted the clothes [and I did actually this time, it's all professional-type stuff], I had to make room for it.)

That said, what'd I miss while I was away?

Okay the_xtina, b/c you love LJ-foo so much, tell me how to make it so my friendslist doesn't show any of the _scientists_ posts that're article requests, but does show all the other posts from that comm. I read my friendslist via Firefox. I've also got NetNewsWire (Mac) which I'm attempted to start using exclusively. I don't use any blog-posting software, but I'm willing to consider one if it'd fix the world for me.
