My dad got me a new digicam! It's semi-SLR, meaning that while I can't swap the lenses, it's got the option for entirely manual settings, including focus. I haven't yet figured out how to meter in the manual modes, but I only got it yesterday. :-P It's 12x optical zoom, and VERY nice. Photos sometime this weekend, I hope.

Oh yeah, it's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-F27, and he got it thru B&H photo.

I should go back for that one of these years. I'll be there this summer though for the astrocamp. :)
