asterrocOMFG, T$ got us a Roomba and it arrived today! I'm so excited, it looks like so much fun. ^_^ We have to charge it for 16 hours to start though. We have to pick up 4 D batteries for the virtual wall units (2 units, 2 D's each), and I'm now searching for AA batteries for the remote. And we'll have to move wires out of the way and such, that's a pain, but we'll deal. ^_^ He's so cute! We need to name him.

Date: 2007-08-01 08:14 pm (UTC)Nah, we haven't changed the filter yet and it's still working fine. (And we run ours every day!) Maybe it isn't catching as much dust as a brand-new filter would, but I haven't noticed a difference. I'll probably change the filter every 6 months or so.
One thing I've noticed is that the long rubber roller thing on the bottom next to the dirt compartment got really ratty looking really quickly. It still works fine, but I was worried about it for a little while. Just wanted to save you the worry in case it happens to yours. :)
