Guardian Boots

The only thing I dislike about the iPhone 4S camera is its color rendition at night - without the flash it's too yellow and bland, with the flash it's too saturated and washed out. That said though, I made my boots!

As usual I don't think the final result is perfect, and there are things I can actually improve if I'm to keep using this costume in future years, but it's pretty danged good if I do say so myself and certainly shows a lot of effort. The boots have a foam insole, but are basically a pair of slippers. I'd like to someday add an outsole, but the flip flops that I was going to use for that, I'm not sure how to attach them, and they're not quite shaped right anyways.

I'm happy with them - just b/c I can see room for improvement doesn't mean I'm unhappy with them. :) I wore the costume (sans boots) at my party Friday, but I'll be wearing it with the boots tomorrow on campus. We'll see what people think!
